Why Call Plyler Law Firm Client-Focused. Relentless Advocacy.

Why Call Plyler Law?

Matthew R. Plyler is a native North Carolinian who has been practicing law in Fayetteville since 1993. The firm emphasizes individualized one-on-one attention and service. Each client receives personalized representation and genuine concern for his or her best interest.

Q: What should I expect from your firm?

A: Since 2000, we have been providing dedicated legal representation to those throughout North Carolina facing legal concerns and problems. Rest assured that we will use every aspect of our nearly 20 years of experience to your advantage. We believe in placing the client first and doing our very best to treat them as a priority throughout the entirety of your case. Whether you’re involved in a divorce, a business law dispute, or facing DWI charges, your case is valuable.

Our team is committed to returning phone calls quickly and keeping you in the loop every step of the way. We understand how important the client experience is, which is why we’ve built our firm around quality service and representation.

Q: Do you charge for initial consultations?

A: The Plyler Law Firm, P.A. does not charge for initial consultations on personal injury cases, medical malpractice cases, premises liability cases, or wrongful death. In such cases, we meet with the client to discuss the facts and injuries. By doing so, we are able to evaluate the case based on my own personal perceptions and experience. On most of these cases, the case is handled on a contingency fee basis, which means that the client does not pay any attorney’s fees unless we obtain a judgment or settlement from the offending party. On all other cases, fees for initial consultations are handled on a case-by-case basis which may be addressed when the meeting is scheduled.

Q: How much does representation cost?

A: As addressed above, most personal injury cases, medical malpractice cases, premises liability cases, and wrongful death cases are handled on a contingency fee basis, which means that the client does not pay any attorney’s fees unless we obtain a judgment or settlement from the offending party. Most other matters are handled on an hourly fee basis, although the Plyler Law Firm, P.A. will utilize alternative billing methods when appropriate. These may include contingency fees, flat fees, and hybrid fee arrangements including both a flat fee/contingency fee basis.

Q: What types of cases does this firm handle?

A: The Plyler Law Firm, P.A. is a general practice firm proudly focusing on many different areas of law. We represent those suffering from personal injury accidents, such as medical malpractice and car accidents. We are also equipped to take on business law cases, insurance disputes, and family law matters.

Q: Is there an advantage to choosing a law firm that practices in multiple areas of law?

A: We believe that there is, as no area of law exists in a vacuum. Often the biggest steps forward are achieved when application from one discipline of law is expanded to include another. The people who are pushing these advancements are often coming from firms practicing in multiple areas of law. The judge hearing a case does not live in an isolated world, nor do we limit our practice to only one area of law.

Q: I did not know you handle personal injury law. Why haven't I seen your ad on TV until recently?

A: Our attorneys are no strangers to the complexities of personal injury law and have been handling these sorts of cases for the past several years. During that time, much of our ‘advertising’ came from clients who were happy to refer our services to their friends and family. We have built a strong reputation that lends itself to frequent referrals by past clients. However, putting time and money into more traditional forms of marketing is equally important. The ads you see on TV are reflective of the values of our firm and will hopefully serve as a path to The Plyer Law Firm for those in need of legal representation.

Q: Is reputation important when searching for an attorney?

A: Yes. An attorney is known for their past successes and their ability to accomplish favorable results on behalf of their clients. With the trustworthy and admirable reputation that we’ve built over the years, others in the legal industry know that our firm is a force to be reckoned with. We don’t take no for an answer and are always prepared to stand up for our clients.

Q: How can I schedule an appointment?

A: You should feel free to call me, Matthew Plyler, at (910) 248-4276 or submit an online form.
